As per IRS 2019 Q4 Survey-

  • In Rajasthan, Dainik Bhaskar has become the No.1 Newspaper in Average Issue Readership(AIR)and Total Readership(TR); AIR/TR(U+R)(Main + Variant) AND in Gujarat, Divya Bhaskar has become the No. 1 Newspaper in Major 4 cities and in the Top 6 cities of Gujarat with an increased lead in Ahmedabad to 31%; AIR/TR
  • In Bihar, Dainik Bhaskar further strengthened its readership base to 67.06 lakh readers and with a moving average method of readership calculation, the relative position is likely to be improved with every passing quarters; TR(U+R)

As per latest Audit Bureau of Circulation(ABC)(July to December 2019) data :

  • Dainik Bhaskar Hindi newspaper has maintained its position as No.1 newspaper of India. Further, Dainik Bhaskar Group maintains its position as the No.1 newspaper group of India.
  • In Rajasthan, Dainik Bhaskar has become the leading newspaper with around 16.44 lakh copies in circulation while continuing to grow in other key markets of Bihar and Gujarat; Main+Variant

December 2019 - IRS Q3 2019

  • Dainik Bhaskar is inching closer to becoming the No.1 player in overall Rajasthan with increasing its lead in urban Rajasthan to 10% from 4% in last quarter and in Jaipur to 47% from 37% in the previous quarter (AIR – Urban | Main + Variant)

Nov 2019

  • As per WAN IFRA, Dainik Bhaskar is globally ranked at 3rd Position globally, and the only newspaper from India to figure in Top 3 Newspaper.

Oct 2019 – Audit Bureau of Circulation JJ’2019

  • Dainik Bhaskar Group is India’s Largest Circulated Daily Newspaper Group.
  • Dainik Bhaskar daily newspaper, has been maintaining its leadership position, as largest circulated newspaper of India with a margin gap of more than 11 lacs copy with no 2 player i.e. 34% margin over no. 2 player.
  • Dainik Bhaskar became the formidable Number 2 Newspaper in overall Bihar and in the largest market of Patna within a sport span of it launch, with over 6 lakh copies in circulation in the State.

May 2019 - Audit Bureau of Circulation JD ‘ 2018

  • India's largest circulated newspaper : Dainik Bhaskar continues to be the India's largest circulated newspaper as per Audit Bureau of Circulation July- December’2018.
  • Dainik Bhaskar maintains its position as the largest circulated national daily of Rajasthan as per the Audit Bureau of Curculation (ABC) results for the six month period (July – December’2018). Dainik Bhaskar added 76212 copies in just 1 year , reaching a circulation of over 16.25 lacs copies

April 2019: IRS Q1 2019

August 2018

  • Dainik Bhaskar is now at Number 2 Position In Bihar with Average Issue Readership of 9.11 lakh readers, as per Bihar Readership Survey Report 2018 by Hansa Research Group and at No.1 position in Patna city with AIR of 5.07 lakhs readers.

July 2018

  • Circulation expansion strategy has delivered excellent growth of around 15% in a 9-month period from around 50.4 lakh copies at the start of the initiative in July 2017 to around 57.9 lakh copies at the end of March 2018 at a higher cover price, mainly across markets of Gujarat, Rajasthan and newer markets of Bihar.

  • D B Corp Ltd. launched its 12th state of Jharkhand with launch of 49th Edition in Ranchi on 22nd August 2010. The launch for reader was very successful, with around 135000 subscribed copies on the day one of the launch and thus becomes most popular News Paper from day 1 of the launch.

6th January 2010

  • Listing of DB Corp Public Issue on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The listing opened at Rs. 250 i.e. with a margin of approx 19% for retail investor, rose to Rs. 275 in the day, that finally closed at Rs. 265.90 i.e. at a margin of approx. 27% for the retail investor. The DB Corp Pubic Issue was one of the best listings of 2009 and 2010 after the revival of the Primary Markets. The DB Corp is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE)

22nd June 2003

  • Dainik Bhaskar Group launches 'Divya Bhaskar' edition from Ahmedabad. This was the biggest launch of any new edition, across languages, across territories in India where the daily was launched with 4,52,000 copies on day 1 and became the leading publication in Ahmadabad City, thus out placing the earlier 50 year old established Gujarati publication. In our innovative and unique launch strategy and product offering, we surveyed approx 12 lacs households, in and surround Ahemadabad, asking the family, their choice and requirement of news paper and booked 452000 copies. Divya Bhaskar' Ahmedabad launch has also increased the market size by almost 32% (IRS). The launch of our Ahmedabad edition has been used as a case study by the Indian Institute of Management ("IIM"), Ahmedabad

17th June 2001

  • Dainik Bhaskar Group further consolidated its position by launching Faridabad edition, in Haryana state

7th May 2000

  • The Dainik Bhaskar Group launches Chandigarh edition. Prior to the launch of the Hindi edition,, Chandigarh was perceived to be primarily an English news paper dominated region. In a short span of time Dainik Bhaskar emerged as the largest Newspaper of Chandigarh city with a significant lead of approx 2.5 times over its English news paper rival

6th March 1999

  • Kota city, the educational hub of the country, was launched as 6th Edition of Dainik Bhaskar

31st May 1998

  • Dainik Bhaskar Group launched its 5th fully fledged, independent Edition from Udaipur

16th October 1997

19th Dec 1996

  • Dainik Bhaskar launched its Jaipur Edition in Rajasthan with 172000 copies on Day 1. Became No I from Day 1, replacing the 42 years– established paper of Rajasthan, a landmark in the print media domain. This development marked a critical point for the Company, which significantly altered the strategic direction and growth plans of the company. The launch of the Jaipur edition has been used as a case study by the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad ("MICA") and many other institutions
